Scanning

Each artwork is individually scanned on an SMA VersaScan 4870 which is a large format flatbed scanner. It’s a specialised, high end piece of equipment for digitising oversized maps, artwork, and archival documents,

Materials

Paintings are printed onto high quality, bright white, 380gsm canvas or cotton rag, smooth, 310gsm archival paper.   This is known as giclée.

Additionally, the printing is extended with a 38mm gallery wrap to cover the sides of the stretcher (internal timber skeleton) without any loss of the original painting.

Embellishing

Each print is lovingly and uniquely embellished to make them a distinctive work. I might use paint, gold leaf, or textured materials to enhance or highlight part of the painting.

Mounting

Mounted prints are on a timber, 38mm gallery-profile stretcher. The print is gallery wrapped to extend around the edges without any loss of the original image.

Framing

Framing is with a simple plain timber frame

Shipping

Shipping is free for canvas-only purchases. They will be carefully packed in a cardboard tube. The carrier chosen might depend on your location.

Shipping cost for framed and mounted purchases will depend on the size and your location. We can quote shipping to you or you can arrange for your own pickup from the Gold Coast, Australia.
